Japanese school completed 10 years

It has been 10 years. But it seems like that day. Japanese parliament member Miki Watanabe himself might not have known that he would be the initiator of fulfilling the dreams of so many students of this country while keeping the request of his Bangladeshi friend. On that day, he invited a Bangladeshi economist friend of his as a "dream speaker" at the center of education in Tokyo, "Ikubunkan Yume Gakuen".

That Bangladeshi friend went to Miki's school, seeing the concentration of the school and all the school teachers to help every student of the school to fulfill their dreams, without any hesitation, the Japanese industrialist and educationist friend asked Miki, 'Friend, you can't do such a school in Bangladesh. ! You have more than two hundred schools worldwide. If not another one, do it in our country!'

In 2013, the journey of the dream educational institution 'Dream Model School and College' started in Bangladesh to fulfill that request. This Japanese educational institution located in Bangladesh is built on the model of the famous Japanese educational institution called 'Ikubunkan Yume Gakuen' and is directly managed by Japan.

And Miki Watanabe did two things at once. He believes that the 'thank you' given by people is a great achievement in life. For that purpose, he established nursing care homes, catering services for the elderly, agricultural farms, and many other institutions. Many schools are run in Nepal and Cambodia by 'School Aid Japan' founded by him. Growing up struggling in life, Miki Watanabe is an ideal guide to weave the dreams of all students and show them the way to fulfill their dreams.

Under his leadership and under the guidance of Katsushi Furusawa, a teacher from Japan's Ikubunkan Yume Gakuen, the School of Dreams began to move forward. Principal Katsushi Furusawa has sacrificed a lot for this institution. He had to stay in Bangladesh for ten years. And the result is also excellent. That small school in a tin shed building 10 years ago now stands proudly with a five-storied building with a huge playground, indoor.

Here too, dreamers like 'Ikubunkan Yume Gakuen' come to talk about fulfilling their dreams and inspire students. Upon entering the school, the board of "Dream Speakers" can be seen, journalist and agricultural development worker Shykh Seraj, former governor of Bangladesh Bank Atiur Rahman, Economist Abul Barakat, Literary and Prothom Alo Associate Editor Anisul Haque, and many other well-known people who came to this dream institution were surprised to see such a beautiful educational institution.

Anisul Haque's candid confession is a great achievement for this organization. He said, 'Being the editor of KR, I have to go to many educational institutions. I have never seen such a beautiful educational institution like this Japanese educational institution before. During the inauguration of the indoor education, the minister said, "I would not have known that there is such a beautiful educational institution in our country." The aim of this institution is to help students to dream, explore and fulfill their dreams. Let this educational institution of dreams move forward - this is the hope of the students, teachers, and everyone else. And seeing this concentration a few days ago, Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Molla Nazrul Islam expressed hope, 'Because of this institution, we can expect that after a few years every student here will come out as Japanese.'

The sports festival and cultural programs of this institution are also educational and of a slightly different style. There is no individual competition in these two events. Sports festivals and cultural events here are an educational field of how to move forward together. Every year a fascinating cultural program is held in the indoor stadium of Dream Model School and College with the participation of artists and craftsmen from Japan and Bangladesh. This is a grand festival with the aim of touching the dream of the culture of Japan and Bangladesh. Miki Watanabe also appeared in this festival if he had the chance.

Every student here writes a daily diary and works accordingly to move forward every day to fulfill their dreams. Dream School students progress through the national curriculum and other co-curricular activities, foreign language learning, computer programs, music, regular contact with Japanese students, and cross-cultural practice under the tutelage of Miki Watanabe, according to the rules and regulations of Ikubunkan High School in Tokyo, Japan. Dream School, which is built about three thousand miles away from Japan, is like a piece of Japan in Bangladesh.
