Every year, in February or March, JIDSC organizes a unique Sports Festival where students get the opportunity to showcase their athletic skills and sportsmanship. Unlike traditional sports competitions that focus on individual achievements, this festival emphasizes teamwork and collective effort. Students are divided into six different teams, and each team works together to compete in various games and activities. This format not only makes the event exciting but also teaches students the importance of cooperation, communication, and team spirit.

What sets this Sports Festival apart is its diverse range of games, which include both local and Japanese sports. By incorporating traditional and international games, students get to experience a mix of cultural and athletic activities. These games challenge their physical abilities, strategic thinking, and coordination, making the festival both fun and educational. Throughout the event, students earn scores for their respective teams based on their performance, encouraging healthy competition and unity among participants.

At the end of the festival, the team with the highest score is awarded the Sports Festival Trophy, a symbol of teamwork and perseverance. More than just a prize, the trophy represents the collective efforts and dedication of the winning team. This festival goes beyond just playing sports—it teaches students valuable life lessons about leadership, cooperation, and the joy of working towards a common goal. The Sports Festival is an event that students look forward to every year, as it strengthens friendships, builds confidence, and promotes a spirit of sportsmanship within the school community.
